Boarding and daycare happen at the North Hollywood house. Walks, drop-in visits and house sitting come to you, anywhere in Los Angeles County.
Rates are per dog. A second dog from the same family is arranged when you book. Prices are confirmed in writing before any stay begins.
Room to actually be a dog
The whole point of a home stay is space. The yard is fully fenced, shaded in the afternoon, and open all day, so dogs move between sun, shade and the couch on their own schedule.

Dogs do better on the food they already eat and the schedule they already know. Pack what they use at home and nothing changes except the address.

Hi, I'm Margarita
Your Pup's Bestie is a small, home-based dog care service in North Hollywood. Dogs stay in my house and my yard, in a normal routine, with someone who is actually around. That is the whole idea, and it is why I keep the numbers small rather than filling every space.

The things worth agreeing on first
Short, clear and applied to every dog equally. Booking a stay means you agree to these.
Vaccinations and health
Dogs must be up to date on rabies, DHPP and bordetella, and on a flea and tick preventative. Please send or bring the records from your vet before the first stay.
Dogs who are coughing, vomiting, have diarrhea, or are recovering from a contagious illness cannot be dropped off. Tell us in advance and we will move the dates instead.
Temperament
Dogs need to be comfortable around people and other dogs. We cannot take dogs with a history of biting or of resource guarding that leads to fights. First-time boarding and daycare dogs come for a short meet and greet so everyone sees how it goes before a full stay.
Intact males over twelve months and dogs in heat are taken case by case, and usually only when they are the only dog staying.
Medication and food
Bring food and medication for the whole stay plus one extra day, in the original packaging, with written instructions. Oral medication is given at no extra charge. Injections are taken case by case, so ask before you book.
Responsibility, vet care and damage
You remain your dog's owner and handler for the whole stay. You are responsible for anything your dog does, including injury to people or other animals and damage to property, and for any costs that come from it.
By booking, you authorize us to arrange emergency veterinary care if we cannot reach you, and you agree that the cost of that care is yours. We will always try to reach you first.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Your Pup's Bestie is not liable for illness, injury, escape, loss or death of a pet, except where it is caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Full detail is in the Terms of Service.
Cancellations and changes
Cancel or change a booking more than 48 hours before it starts and there is nothing to pay. Inside 48 hours, one night or one visit is charged. If we have to cancel, you pay nothing.
Payment and drop-off
Payment is arranged directly with Margarita once the booking is confirmed. Drop-off and pick-up windows are agreed in that same confirmation, so they fit around your travel.

Boarding and daycare take place at the house in North Hollywood. Walks, drop-in visits and house sitting are available across Los Angeles County. Longer drives are still fine, they are just scheduled around the day.
